Otto ("Otto," "we," "us") is a product of Vilano Corporation, 302 2nd Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084, USA. Otto is an AI-powered marketing assistant for automotive sales professionals, available at leadotto.com and app.leadotto.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and optionally your cell phone number and dealership name, which you choose to include in generated posts.
- Content you provide: vehicle listing URLs you paste into Otto, and the marketing posts Otto generates for you.
- Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store only your subscription status and plan.
- Usage information: basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) needed to operate and secure the service.
- Social account information: if you choose to connect a social media account (such as a Facebook Page, Instagram business account, or TikTok account) for publishing, we receive the account identifiers and permissions ("tokens") needed to publish posts on your behalf. We do not receive your social media passwords.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: scrape the vehicle pages you submit, generate marketing posts, and (where you have connected an account and authorized it) publish those posts to your social accounts.
- To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To secure, maintain, and improve Otto.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. AI processing
Otto uses third-party AI models (Anthropic's Claude) to generate post text from the vehicle data you submit. Vehicle details are sent to the AI provider solely to generate your posts.
4. Platform data (Meta, TikTok, and others)
When you connect a social account, we access only the permissions required to publish content you explicitly approve. We use platform data solely to provide publishing features you request; we do not sell it or use it for any other purpose. You may disconnect a social account at any time, which revokes our access. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and equivalent policies of other platforms.
5. Service providers
We share information only with providers who help us run Otto: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI text generation). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
6. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Your rights and choices
- You can access and update your profile information in the app.
- You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data at any time — see our Data Deletion Instructions.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app.
8. Children
Otto is for working professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
